The MainSite Group Corporation (KM) (“we,” “us,” and “our”) built the StudentCalc application as a paid utility tool for students and professionals. This Privacy Policy explains our policy regarding the collection, or deliberate lack thereof, of any information when using our app.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We want to be completely transparent: StudentCalc collects absolutely no data from its users. Specifically, we do not collect:
- Personal identification information, including name, email address, phone number, or address
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Location data of any kind
- Usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioral data
- Calculation history or notebook content from outside your device
- Camera images or scanned photos
- Financial data or calculator inputs entered into the app
- Crash reports or diagnostic data

- Any data transmitted over the internet
3. How the App Works — On-Device Only
- All calculations are performed locally on your iPhone or iPad
- The Photo Scanner uses Apple’s built-in Vision framework and processes images directly on your device
- No images are ever uploaded or transmitted anywhere
- Your notebook notes are saved locally on your device using standard iOS storage
- Calculation history is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted
- The app functions fully without an internet connection
4. Third-Party Services
StudentCalc does not integrate with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, tracking tools, or data brokers. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, Meta Pixel, advertising SDKs, Crashlytics, Sentry, or any marketing or data collection platforms.
5. Apple App Store
StudentCalc is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information as part of standard App Store operations, including purchase records and download statistics. That data is governed by Apple’s own privacy practices and is outside of our control or access.
6. Children’s Privacy
StudentCalc is designed to be safe for users of all ages, including students under the age of 13. Because we collect no personal information whatsoever, the app is designed to support compliance with COPPA and Apple’s guidelines for children’s apps.
7. Data Security
Because StudentCalc does not collect, transmit, or store user data on external servers, there is no user data in our possession that could be exposed through a server-side breach. Any locally stored content remains protected by your device’s built-in iOS security features, such as device encryption, Face ID, and Touch ID where enabled.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You retain full control over content stored locally on your own device and may remove it at any time by deleting the app from your device.
